We Founded Skill Escalator Because…

It became obvious to us that one of the next steps in the evolving training and education sector would be led by artificial intelligence (AI). It also became obvious that, while major corporations would develop AI-based products and services internally, everyone else would be left to fend for themselves. This created a yawning gap in the market. Individuals interested in learning about AI and its potential applications either had to go it alone or enroll in expensive, time-consuming programs offered as Executive Education or in degree programs where AI was merely an elective. We asked, What about ambitious and intellectually curious individuals? What about small to midsized businesses? To answer our own questions, we created Skill Escalator.

Our Team is Your Team

We founded Skill Escalator after our creative team spent five years developing various public services centered around non-degree skill schools. Our predecessor organizations include Alternatives to College (A2C), a site offering 6,000 programs from 1,700 schools and organizations. Prior to A2C, our group spent nine years examining degree granting colleges and universities that met certain criteria for our Best Value School Award. Our team has been deeply involved in market-sensitive education and training related developments for twelve years. And our founder, as its CEO, led a university and related education, testing and training organizations since 2005.
